With every seed we plant, we demonstrate our commitment to nature and the preservation of Mauritius’ rich biodiversity. We actively embrace sustainable farming practices and proudly serve as guardians of the island’s endemic flora through the Endemika Nursery and our 23-hectare endemic forest at Les Palétuviers, in the north.

The Endemika Nursery

Since 1998, our nursery has primarily focused on the endemic flora of Mauritius, with over 80 indigenous species currently under cultivation. Our extensive collection, including palms, trees, shrubs, climbers, and ground covers, makes the Endemika Nursery one of the largest on the island. In total, we offer more than 450 varieties of both exotic and endemic plants, along with four types of turf.

The Endemika Shop

Offering a wide range of pots and gardening tools, fertilisers, and seeds, the Endemika shop is a haven for gardeners and landscaping professionals alike. Nestled in a serene natural setting, it supports both experts and enthusiasts in their garden design and landscaping projects.

Sugarcane

With roots dating back to 1837, Maison Rouillard has cultivated sugarcane across vast hectares. Staying true to our heritage, we are committed to responsible farming that improves soil renewal and we are enthusiastically adopting sustainable agricultural practices that show greater respect for our island.

Turf Growing and Sales

Endemika specialises in growing and selling turf, offering four varieties: pique-fesse, ti bourik, gro bourik, and chiendent. These grasses are specifically chosen for the Mauritian climate and can be used for various landscaping needs. Whether you’re an individual or a professional, our turf is available as plugs, rolls, or slabs to help you enhance your projects.
